Seeing there are a few members with the expressive love of tea, I though to start up a little tea club. So come on in, sit down, have a cup of tea and enjoy some civilised conversation on the matter of tea, snacks and everything in between! Just remember: be polite to one another, don't cuss or swear, because I have my eye on you!
---
Tea Time~
---
Ah tea . . . the only hot beverage I can drink 24/4. In the mornings during breakfast, it wakes me up. In the afternoon during lunch, it keeps me going. In the evening during my bouts of creativity, it warms me up and inspires me.
Lately, I've been very fond of organising low-key high tea parties and going to small café's at my new hometown and just sit down to try all the kinds of tea they have there. Weptover kind of introduced me into the world of chai latte and I just can't get enough of that stuff. So I have been trying those all over the place as well. The spicy but sweet flavour, toned down by the creamy taste of foamed milk . . . oooooh, I get cravings just thinking about it!
So what are your favourites?
Fresh mint?
Pineapple and vanilla?
How about liquorice?
Hmmmm, tea! <3 _________________ Charas, topics and plotlines~

I am proud to be the reason for your chai latte addiction. We shall have to have one together for breakfast when I come visit. |

Ye gods, I would love that. Though I'd have to devise a way to make my milk foamy. Or just take y'all out for breakfast (we silly Dutchies never go out for breakfast - but hey! I live in the big city. There's bound to be a café of two offering!)
Oh you! Now I feel like a good cup of the stuff. And I still have 1,5 hour of work to goooo~ *despairs* _________________ Charas, topics and plotlines~

No tea for me thanks. I drink coffee sometimes. I could care less about being an aficionado on it though...sorry for my somewhat derailing comment _________________ Grumbled by Thargor, typed by rats |

I am not a tea fan Butterfly (as you know) however if you accept members who show up to tea for the tasty treats that go with tea, rather than the tea itself, I'd so be willing. *grins and waves* I'll even make some sweets |

I'm also the sweets type, although I will say that even though I use milk and honey on mah tea, I do enjoy the sent of teas very much. I drink tea maybe once or twice a day if I feel like it
That, and I love to eat sweets while drinking tea. Only on weekends though... >_>
Totally not a sugar addict, shut up~ _________________

Yeah, Japan has some pretty crazy stuff! A friend of mine went there last month and brought me sweet sakura tea. It's very pretty: like a tea flower. If you have a glass pot, you can see the sakura blossom in the hot water when you put it in. Such a pretty sight! I'll be sure to take a picture next time I have it~ _________________ Charas, topics and plotlines~

Oh yeah, I got green tea with sakura bits in it--since I was there during sakura season~
I've seen those teas with the blooming flowers--so cool! Never had the chance to try that kind myself, though. |

Tee hee, I meant the definite male cookies. The ones we made with all kinds of frosting when I was at your place. The kind we forced my brudda to eat, huhuhu! <3
. . . . . . . . . . and I'm still craving chai latte. It's an unhealthy addiction. _________________ Charas, topics and plotlines~

Sugar cock cookies? I didn't remember there being forcing involved. I maintain that he enjoyed his sugar cookie. *giggles* I make tasty cookies. (I like the gingerbread best though I think.)
*grins and snuggles Arvel* Enjoy your tea. I still maintain that Chai tastes like Christmas smells to me. |

*laughs* Liquid, hot Christmas. That almost sounds dirty. You're kind of right though, I agree. It must be the spices <3
Ye gods. During the Animeconvention this weekend, a couple of us crazies watched 'Kuroshitsuji' (Black Butler) and suddenly I have a craving for English tea served by a hot demon butler. Uwaah. _________________ Charas, topics and plotlines~
