I wish moths were my only problem in the summer.... Mosquitoes love me.. like really really love me. And they love my backyard.. So me stepping out into my backyard is like suicide..
Okay maybe I exaggerate a lil.. but it's still really bad.
And yes I love Japanese, just can't speak it very well. A word I pick up here and there is about it. But, my husband gets free Rosetta Stone (a language learning program for those who don't know) through the army, so when he gets home, we're gonna try it out. _________________ If I were the rain. . . that binds together the Earth and the sky, whom in all eternity will never mingle. . . I went to school in Tokyo for a year--the school sucked, but Tokyo was cool. I don't think I would want to live there again (I'm so not a city girl lol), but I would love to visit again and again and again. (I MISS GOING TO MY BUTLER CAFE ONCE A WEEK SOOOO BAD T_T I follow my butlers on Twitter lol)
As for Japanese...I still suck at Japanese LOL. I learn Kanji really fast and I really like kanji, but I feel really stupid when I try to speak Japanese. Of course, I feel kinda stupid when I speak period, so that was to be expected...I don't like talking in general. Why can't we all just communicate via writing? ;_; |

I've never been much for learning about Japanese culture, or the language. My literature class is having me read a couple Icelandic Sagas right now. It's actually what I should be doing right now...Hell with it, I need to be in super concentration mode to comprehend that shit. _________________ Grumbled by Thargor, typed by rats |

Well,English is all about speaking,Japanese is all about writing. However,I am native speaker and really can tell that Japanese is a difficult language. But if the one has the will...who can stop him/her? _________________

Tee hee, that's for sure. Katsu wants to study Japanese, too. In Sweden! xD Sweet <3
I love languages, especially complex ones I can't understand. I had a year of Latin in high school and all western European languages kind of are alike in terms of grammer and the suches. But nordic Scandinavic and eastern Arabic languages make my toes wriggle in delight. And Russian. Oh, Russian! <3 <3 _________________ Charas, topics and plotlines~

Did I ever tell you what hoofdletters means, Kathinja? xD And I like our G sound. It makes us sound ork-y. Not as bad as the German though! _________________ Charas, topics and plotlines~

Learning Japanese is relatively easy for Finnish people like me, because... how should I put it. The way they are pronounced are 'stiff', unlike in English. Damn them and their tongue twisters... Anyways, if I wanted to, I could learn to speak japanese completely, and not just by what I've learned from anime. (you wouldn't believe how much Japanese I learned just by watching anime)
To my shame I must admit though, that I don't know any kanji ;^; _________________

I know a bit of spanish, and what my friends call 'Kat-onese', because you can't really call what I speak english (I butcher the language, truly it's rather sad LOL!) I'd love to learn dutch though, if nothing else than so I can understand Lid'l and her friends over Skype, or when I go visit XD
PS: I'm swimming in happiness right now. My big beautiful computer has been on for 8hrs straight since I got it back and no freezing, monitor flickering, restarting, or other obnoxiousness. Maybe tis fixed? Tis awfully hard to post sometimes on a tiny tiny screen. _________________ Characters: Xander and Alexis Valde (Blade Masters) | Tryst (Wisp) | Zayr Manami (Elemental) | Alaistar Loclaran (Death Elf) | Ridder Baeddan (Executioner) |
