Name: Raffael “The Tiger”
Age: 24
Age Appearance: More or less the same..
Gender: Male
Species/Race: Element User (fire)
Appearance: He has a slightly tanned skin and long, fiery, ginger coloured hair. He usually tries to tie it up in a ponytail, but his hair has a will of its own and loves to fall back into his face in loose strands. His sharp eyes are a reddish-brown, which seem to glow dangerously when he's angry. He is fairly muscled, but lean and shorter than the average male, which often causes people to underestimate him. He has the tattoo of a vicious tiger crawling over his left shoulderblade, the side of the heart. He usually wears silky robes, preferably in the colour red or something similar. On his belt he has a long chain decorated with lots of daggers.
Personality: Raffael is a short-tempered hot head, but with a big heart. He's very loyal to his friends and will do anything to protect them. Don't insult any of them, he'll kick your ass. On the other hand he loves to test his strength against others to prove that he is the best fighter and he takes pride in every victory. If he ever gets defeated he'll train as long as needed to defeat that person after all. Raffael loves a challenge, but can be quite reckless. When he fights he draws his power from fire magic and his highly trained martial arts skills.
When not in a fight he is still very impulsive and can become enthusiastic over the littlest things (food, landscapes, people.. etc.) and may seem a bit naïve and childlike. But be careful; his mood can swing within a second and the next thing you know he's cursing at you and trying to win through a verbal fight. But despite his behaviour he is pretty smart and understanding, he just doesn't have serious moments very often as he tries to live life to the fullest.
In the romantic area he is straightforward and doesn't really care about gender; during his life as a monk he seemed to have a slight crush on their leader, Fernando, but it was unanswered.
History:
Raffael grew up in a large family with lots of brothers and sisters, but he was kicked out of their home for his insolent and rude behavior. He roamed the streets for a long time before he was caught by the village’s guards for stealing food from the market. But he was still young, and some passing monks took pity on him and took him in instead of letting him go to jail. In the monastery he learned to use his strength to help people, and that kindness would be returned to him if he showed kindness as well. As he grew up among the monks he changed into the person he is today (see ‘personality’) and will do everything to protect his friends, unable to live without them.
Raffael was also one of the monks who were murdered by the Necrotheist Raven. He was reborn from a large fire during a celebration in a village. He will never stop searching for his monk-friends.
Occupation/Job: He used to be a fighter for the monks, people hired him to protect them. Now in his new life this is about all he can do.
Interesting Facts/Quirks: Being a fire elemental he hates water, but he can swim if he really has to. Also he never really learned how to read, but he refuses to admit it.
Hobby/Hobbies: Testing his skills against others.
Likes: Fighting, challenges, improving his strength, liquor, their leader Fernando, playing with children, party and cooking.
Dislikes: Water, people who are smarter than him, people who offend his friends.
Strength: He can manipulate powerful fire attacks. He's a good fighter with high martial arts skills, he often fights with sharp claws attached to his hands or daggers. He'll never give up easily.
Weakness/Flaw: He is short-tempered, may rush into a fight without thinking. He is weak to water magic and rain.
