I know I'm not the only one around here who likes these lovely writing shenanigans known as NaNoWriMo!
So, DISCUSSION THREAD!
Personally I'm still pondering, because...November just kind of snuck up on me all of a sudden and I hadn't really thought about whether I would do it or not. ^^;; Ironically, someone being rather rude about it to me is kind of making me want to do it all the more...*cough*
What's everyone writing about? Any RP characters sneaking into some stories~? |

*laughs* I saw on facebook - I wanted to say something too, but I can best put my words into my novel, huh? It'd be great if you could make it too, the more the merrier, ne?
Personally, I love NaNo. It's the perfect excuse to say NO to eveybody and just clear some time for myself. I'm horrible at telling people no and I have a tendency to plan away weekends so I have no time left to spend on myself. And I do enjoy writing a lot, so NaNo is like a mini-vacation. But with a deadline of 1667 words a day xD
Anyway, I'm writing something fun about a band named the Stormcrows. Some of you might recognise these guys from way back on the Sage. It's going to be drama and music and competition! I hope everybody doesn't mind me abusing their characters xD

If you don't know what to write, Katsu had this great steampunk-plotline-machine-thing! Does anyone have the link of that one? It was really inspiring haha
How about everyone posts their NaNo-names? Then we can keep track of each other, yay! Mine is Sometime. I'm currently at 1.175 words... have to catch up a bit today ^^;;
I'm writing about the Retriever-story we started here. Some recycled parts, some new stuff... I've never really participated (last year I failed within a few days) but this year I'll do my best to at least write 1000 words a day! It's not enough to reach 50.000 before the end of the month, but for me it's more doable ^^;; but who knows, maybe I'll surprise myself and manage to write more! <3

Yeeeah, I don't know what her problem is...she just gets really over-opinionated and rude sometimes...^^;;
But anyway! I'd be interested in seeing the plotlime-machine XD
My NaNoWriMo name is Kathinja. I've done NaNo a few times, but have never been successful ^^;;;
It's probably not even possible for me to do NaNoWriMo successfully this time either, because I'll be going to Disney World for a week....and, well, like I'm going to want to write at Disney World LOL.
Your ideas sound like fun <3 Eeeei I need an idea so I can catch up! |

Yeah, my november is going to be slow on here because of nano- I felt so bad I didn't have the time to get more than 1/2 way last year, so this year I'm determined to finish once more!
No current RP characters, but I'm actually writing about an RP group I started years ago- it started out as a board, moved to tabletop, and then moved back to board before fizzling out, but I spent so much time on the world that this is my 2nd novel I'm writing for the world- my second nano (that unfortunately didn't get finished- maybe for december?) was a prequel to the world. The main character however is actually recycled from a long running (5 years!) star wars RP my friends ran in college LOL... oh the memories...LMAO
I am Kestryl on the nano boards, although I haven't signed on this year yet, and probably won't be able to until this weekend when the site slows down a bit.

I finally started writing! And yes, the person being rude to me on facebook inspired me to start writing. ISN'T THAT SOOOOOOOOOOOO NICE OF THEM? ;3
It looks like it's turning into a story about The Creator, funny enough XD;; |

So how is everyone doing? I can tell your wordcount from your NaNo accounts, but that doesn't tell me anything about the pain and pleasure you're experiencing~ I wanna knooooow!
For me, I'm having a lot of fun. I've written four chapters so far, changing the POV to a different character every time. So far, we've had the drumming quitter, the band mommy, the sardonic guitarist and the bitch rival. Up next is the flamboyant gay keyboardist <3 I'm soooooooo looking forward to that <3 <3

I have two princes who are twins, four Kingdoms United into one, a chase scene, a (one-sided) fight, a walk through a dark forest, magical plants that breed wolves, a recluse, A very neutral woman, A magical bell that summons a Goddess, an eccentric, Tea obsessed Healer, a self obsessed God, an over protective wife and her stoic and war/battle obsessed husband and two rogue mages who accidental set shit on fire all the time.
So far... It's quite good ^^
